FiveSteps Game | Help

Qick Guide

Here you can find a quick guide to setup and play FiveSteps [0.5.0].
NOTE: If you have an old version (< 0.4.2), we highly recommend reinstalling the game.

Setup FiveSteps for the first time

1.Install the latest version of FiveSteps from Google Play.

2.Open the game. You will see a screen like this:

Here you need to select or create a folder specially for FiveSteps. Please DON'T create the folder within the Documents or Download directory.
In this guide, we are going to create a new folder. You can name it whatever you want.

After that, just click in "Allow".

3. Grant permissions. In the main menu, you will see a buton like this one:

If you click on it, FiveSteps will request to you for grant permissions. Please allow all the permissions! All of these are required to load the songs.

After doing that, you will see a message saying "No channels found..."

Very good! You have completed the initial setup!

Add Song Pack

Let's assume that you already have a song pack downloaded.

You just need to unzip/extract the song pack folder.

If you go to the diretory that you created previusly for the game, you will see 2 folders: "Songs" and "RandomMovies":

Copy your song packs folders into the "Songs" directory. Something like this:

For example, if I open a song pack directory, you will see all the songs that this song pack contains!:

Open the game, and FiveSteps automatically will load the song packs!

BGA

Some songs contains BGA (Background videos) and FiveSteps can play it!

As this feature is an experimental function, you need to enable the BGA in the game settings. Go to Settings -> Gameplay -> and enable the BGA option.

Random Movies

Random Movies are videos that FiveSteps will reproduce when you play a song and it has not contain BGA. That is to say, FiveSteps will take a video from this directory and will play it as generic BGA. Don't forget to enable the BGA feature in the game settings!

You can download Random Movies from this link:
